Retrocoin is a collectible coin specialty store that was born in Yokohama in 2011.
The shop owner, who loves eating soba, driving a car and beautiful coins, introduces good quality coins donated by coin collectors all over the country and selected coins from Japan and overseas.

We have an online store specializing in collectible coins. It started in 2011.

Retro Coin Exhibition

The “Retro Coin Exhibition to Enjoy in an Old House” has been held since 2017 at ‘ATARI’ Sakuragi Ueno.
The “Retro Coin Exhibition in Yokohama” will be held from 2021 at Silk Center.
It is held almost every month at one of the venues.
The Tokyo venue is an exhibition and sale of antique works of art and old coins that can be enjoyed leisurely in the tatami room of an old private house. While relaxing on the tatami mats, you can look at the beautiful coins, enjoy delicious tea, and have a lively conversation about coins.
The Yokohama venue is located in the Silk Center where our office is located, and you can enjoy the panoramic view of Yamashita Park and Yokohama Port in front of you. We have more than 200 coins with slabs on display and sale, mint sets, bank rolls, etc. Taking advantage of the size of the venue, we are exhibiting various things as a real "capricious market". In addition, in the business meeting space, we also accept various consultations such as grading, sales, and auction listings.

Retro Coin Auction

Since 2018, floor auctions have been held in Yokohama and Tokyo. This auction mainly consists of coins and banknotes with a third party guarantee.
We have handled a wide range of prices from 1,000 yen to 15 million yen. We would like to create a lineup that is conscious of the brands that you can see. The presence of the auctioneer, who speaks Japanese, English, and Chinese, and has many fans, is also a must-see.
In addition, we place importance on the opportunity to directly see the actual product, and hold preliminary inspections in various places in Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Yokohama so that you can see it properly in a calm environment.
Some of the pictures of the items for sale were taken consciously so that you can see the scratches and other areas of concern. In many cases, we are in the Internet age, but we are working with an emphasis on the opportunity to confirm the actual product.
